Not having much wall space to attach cabinetry to was the challenge presented to Interior Designer Peter Charles Lopipero of Peter Charles Associates Ltd. of Oyster Bay, N.Y. The key was to maximize space, which is one of the many forte's of
the designer. He takes advantage of the height available and the center of the room using an island to incorporate a cook top, microwave convection oven, loads of storage and a place for the kids to sit at while polishing off a favorite snack.
The light tones of the cabinetry carry over to the beautiful breakfast room refelcted in a charming Country French Hutch. The use of glass, atop a stunning iron base combined with cane back chairs keep the feeling light and airy. The use of an
area carpet adds that touch of warmth completing a wonderful place to enjoy family and friends in a less formal setting.
